Glavkos KoumidesPSEUDO-CONCEPTUAL EPHEMERA15-24 APRIL 2010Across its 20 square metres and on its aging, eroding walls, APOTHEKE will be hosting from Thursday 15th April to Saturday 24th April 2010, three ad hoc works by Glavkos Koumides, under the title PSEUDO-CONCEPTUAL EPHEMERA.These works, as a series of conjectural pictographies, attempt to highlight the beaming allurement of a co-ordinated deviation from horizontality, the elation integral to an almost mystical centrifuge, as well as the futile end of all efforts to repudiate the excessive and the absurd.Alongside these works, an arrangement of the not only philatelically significant post-cards, recently send by the artist from Cologne, where he lives and works, to 'APOTHEKE, 23 Kleanthis Christofides Street, Lefkosia 1011, ZYPERN', and which additionally kindled Glavkos Koumides' ephemeral passing through APOTHEKE, will also be exhibited.
